Jupiter got its figures from working with a core group of “teen influencers” who represent 17% of online teens in the US and who spend about eight hours a week online, CNET reports. “During the estimated seven hours a week they spend online, most teenagers regularly use instant messaging and browse online content like personal pages and blogs.”
